British jazz pianist Keith Tippett has passed away at the age of 72 after suffering from a heart attack. An important turning point came in 1970 when he collaborated with King Crimson's prog rockers, on whose album “In the Wake of Poseidon” he participated. In the song "Cat Food", in which Tippett contributes wild cluster outbreaks, he even performed with the band on television on the BBC show "Top of the Pops". The following year, Tippett was also heard on the King Crimson album "Islands", this time with more impressionistic sounds. #ThankYouForTheMusic
