Dino Saluzzi: New Album Albores

When Dino Saluzzi gave his first concerts in Europe in the early 1980s, he was praised as a representative of the new tango. In the following years it turned out that the bandoneon player from Argentina had a much more musical stylistic device. There are recordings with his family group, with internationally renowned jazz musicians, as well as with chamber and orchestral music. So now another record on which the 85-year-old restricts himself to his Argentine button accordion. The instrument has accompanied him since childhood and Saluzzi has achieved an incomparable sound quality on it. Whether it's milongas from Buenos Aires or folk music from the Andes, he is never concerned with the superficial, he always penetrates the deeper layers of the music, looking for its essence. #dinosaluzzi
