The musician Omar Souleyman used to live in Syria. He worked as a singer at wedding parties. The recordings were given to the married couple and later traded on the black market. Now Syria is destroyed by the war and Souleyman lives in Turkey. He now works with Björk or Damon Albarn and has become an international pop star. On his new album "Shlon" he sings about the beauty of women and the promise of eternal love. He uses pumping techno beats as a background. Despite the euphoric melodies, his music remains the soundtrack of the tragedy in his homeland.

It is estimated that one in 5,000 Africans was born an albino and is therefore a victim of social exclusion.
